Bateman’s extensive track record in design and construction of heavy mineral sands plants includes Corridor Sands and Moma in Mozambique, Hillendale in South Africa and Namakwa Sands in the Western Cape, Ancuabe in Mozambique (graphite), and Havercroft in South Africa (andalusite).
Mineral beneficiation technologies include
- Comminution, gravity concentration, flotation, jigging, dense-media separation, cycloning, magnetic separation, electrostatic separation and pyro-processing.
- Supported by in-house expertise in materials handling, conveying and stockpiling, pollution control, cooling systems, water treatment, power supply and process control systems.
The Bateman Test Rig offers a facility to test three-stage separation processes and two-stage desliming processes.
