Bateman Engineering focuses on providing the services and technology required to establish process plants for converting natural resources into marketable products.
Our position as a leader in our sector is underpinned by our capability to offer global, well-proven expertise and comprehensive services that cover all commodities including diamonds, industrial minerals (such as ilmenite, zircon, rutile, graphite and andalusite), uranium, coal, iron ore, gold, platinum group metals, copper, nickel, cobalt, zinc, lead, manganese, ferrous metals and ferroalloys.
Bateman's considerable and leading source of process technology is leveraged as a differentiator on projects and is managed through Centres of Excellence, which support global operations.
Our services cover brownfield upgrades and new, metallurgical process plants, and range from undertaking prefeasibility and feasibility studies, through to basic and detailed engineering, and execution of projects. We have wide experience in various contracting models, including EPCM (engineering, procurement, construction and management), lump-sum EP (engineering and procurement) and LSTK (lump-sum turnkey) projects.
Development, front end and basic engineering are driven out of the Global Centres of Excellence, and project execution is provided through a number of geographically-focused Business Units including Australia & South East Asia, CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States), India and Sub-Saharan Africa.
